  Alfie

This is Alfie, he's adorable!  I love this little man so very much but I feel he deserves to have a home where he can get all the one to one attention he deserves.

He's a housebun because of his health and his age, he's 6 years old.  It was touch and go as to whether Alfie would survive when we first got hold of him, he was taken straight to the vet from his previous owner's house.

Alfie had a catalogue of problems:

- in urgent need of a dental operation

- weepy eye

- a layer of skin had grown over his perineum which effectively meant that the urine had nowhere to go so it just seeped under the skin on his abdomen, he therefore had urine scald

- the worst case of mites I have ever seen on a bun

He has since recovered very well, he needs his food chopped up into little bite sized pieces, he manages to keep himself clean, all the mites have been eradicated, he can urinate normally again.  Some of his molars are missing and he may need dentals in the future.

Alfie is very very loving and adores the company of adults (and quiet children!).  He also loves to be outdoors in the sunshine when weather permits.  He's a very rewarding bunny and we'd love him to go to a wonderful home where he can live out his life in peace and comfort.

Update 11/08/07: Alfie has found the home he's been dreaming of, my that was quick, it took me by surprise!  Not only does he have a wonderful home but also a beautiful wife called Fredi, hopefully we'll get pictures of them together very soon, watch this space!

Doesn't he look so happy in his new home?  Miss you sweetie....
