Belle - also known as Baby-belle and Stinker-belle

Belle is a beautiful red-eyed white bunny girl, and is between 1 and 2 years old.  Her eyesight is very poor (as is usually the case with red eyed bunnies) and therefore she is really cautious in a strange environment.

Belle had a pretty bad start in life, we suspect she didn't have the best of care as she was very frightened when we got her.  The people who first rescued her told us that they had heard she had been thrown down a flight of stairs before they got her.

When we got her, she had a variety of health problems including snuffles and dental disease, she will require ongoing veterinary treatment for the rest of her life.  Belle is a housebun as she is very frightened outdoors.  She is happy staying with us and she has blossomed into an intelligent, funny, cuddly girl with a hint of naughtiness thrown in for good measure!  Although Belle could be rehomed, it would have to be a very very special home with someone who has 'snuffle-rabbit' knowledge, in the meantime, she's here to stay for as long as she wants.

Update 01/08: Belle has been bonded to our Floyd, and the pair of them have been adopted by Anne who we know will love her and give her the one to one attention she deserves.  As an added bonus, they live very nearby so we're on hand if required.  It was an incredibly hard decision to make with regards to rehoming Belle because we'd had her with us for over two years, but because she bonded so easily with Floyd and I knew they were to be kept as housebuns, I (reluctantly!) decided it would be better for her to have her very own Mum to lavish attention on her 24 hours a day.  Lordy, how I miss her cheeky presence :-( , but I know she is loved and she's living in the lap of luxury.
