Fundraising for C.A.R.R.O.T.

On the evening of 28th October, Pam and Frank of the Kinloch Arms Hotel, Carnoustie, hosted a Dinner Dance in aid of C.A.R.R.O.T.

It was well attended and turned out to be a brilliant night.  Entertainment for the evening were Garry and Derek aka The Johnston Brothers who were (as usual!) on top form, singing a wide repertoire of Rat Pack songs.  A wonderful two course meal was served and drinks were flowing!

The VIP guest for the night was none other than Scooty McCarrot!  Unfortunately he seemed a bit subdued the following day, between you and I, I think there was a wee hangover thing going on there...

Pam and Frank provided the venue and meals free of charge and they also donated some wonderful raffle prizes, thank you so much guys, we really really appreciate it!

Garry and Derek also sang their hearts out for the bunnies and asked nothing in return, bless 'em!  They're a very popular duo and always do a grand job (they're available for bookings, if anyone is interested, drop me an email!)

We'd like to thank everyone who attended and gave generously when Jim hassled them to dig deep into their pockets for the sake of the buns.  Big thank you to Rachel for being 'the face of C.A.R.R.O.T.' at the Dinner Dance and giving up her time to help us out.  Also many many thanks to Murray Electricians, Brothock Coachworks, and the various generous individuals who donated raffle prizes.

The grand total raised by this event was a whopping £620!!!
