   Harriet (sponsor bun)

This voluptious girl is Harriet, Harri to her friends.  She's big and bolshy and full of character.  She loves a cuddle and a nose rub and she also loves to dig holes!

Harri hasn't been spayed as yet because she's overweight and would therefore be a 'high risk' for an anaesthetic (overweight buns and anaesthetic are not a good mix and could result in fatality, let this be a warning for owners of fat bunnies!).  She's on a diet just now and is getting lots of exercise, so her weight is slowly but surely coming down.

She's a big bunny with a big personality and is used to coming into the house to watch telly.  She's very well behaved most of the time.

Update 2008:  Harriet developed a large fast growing lump on her side and the vet advised that she have it removed when she was booked in for her spay.  A biopsy revealed that the lump wasn't a tumour and she was given the all clear.  However, she has started to have problems with her spine and she's on cage rest to see if it gets better.

Update 2009:  Harriet has now decided that she wants to have CARROT as her forever home and is now living indoors, going out to play when the weather is dry and mild.  The vet suspects she's got arthritis in her spine and therefore the cold and damp would make her a bit stiff.  She's settled down a lot and is very nosy, and, if she's in a good mood, will groom my eyebrows ..... albeit with the groomee (me) feeling slightly intimidated :o and very privileged!
