This is Louise,
she came to us in February 04 aged then about 6 or 7 months. Her
previous owners had her since she was a baby and she lived in the same hutch
as her sister Thelma. One day Thelma escaped and was never seen again,
so Louise was left on her own. Her owner had to give her up as she had
to move to another house and couldn't take her with her.
Louise
has pink eyes and therefore 'not very attractive' to some people, although
we think she is absolutely gorgeous! Since her arrival at
C.A.R.R.O.T., she has been spayed and is now ready for a new home. We
fear we may have her for a while though as people are somehow put off by her
pink eyes (sadly). She has a wonderful nature and will happily sit in
your arms for petting. She's very gentle and quite timid, but comes
into her own when she's running around the garden, when she just goes plain
MENTAL!!!. She has also been known to climb up onto walls and run
along the top, so you have to watch her at all times! She devours hay
like it's going out of fashion and she's the Purlie Queen of Great Britain!
She is litter trained and is very clean in her habits.
Louise has now gone to her forever
home to stay with Anne and I can get daily updates (Yay!)
